Where Nature Meets Luxury: Corian® Lava Rock Elevates the Luxe Lodge Experience

This project has the presence of a 7-star luxury hotel while at the same time mixes the warmth and organic feel of nature. It swept the Queensland HIA Bathroom and Kitchen Awards, but there is something you might not know about the beautiful Luxe Lodge – Corian® Solid Surface is featured extensively.
To achieve this look, the designer Mark Gacesa, mixed many natural finishes like Corian® Solid Surface, honed slab marble, rock cladding, Hosowari cladding, dull brass and aged bronze with glamorous finishes like antiqued Tuscan amber mirror.

With its silky, seamless finish, Corian® Lava Rock Shower Walls integrated smoothly into the material palette, supporting the clean, contemporary aesthetic the project set out to achieve. Cool in its sophistication yet calming in its presence, Corian® Shower Walls offer a warm, pleasant touch and a grout‑free surface that enhances ease of use. Their straightforward maintenance and long‑term hygienic performance make them especially well-suited to hotel environments. Combining strong sensory qualities with design flexibility, Corian® Shower Walls meet interior designer Mark Gacesa’s requirements for both style and function.
Furthermore, Corian® Glacier White surfaces were paired with Axolotl patinated bronze, used to create custom thermoformed handles featuring a routed fret pattern that repeats throughout the home.
