The eagerly awaited awards ceremony of this years‘ Iconic Awards will be held on 4 October 2016 in Munich. Winners of the annual award, which is issued by the German Design Council, will receive a beautifully crafted tower trophy made of Corian in Glacier White and Sorrel colours. The Awards are fabricated by Corian^® Quality Network member Reis of Möglingen. Sorrel belongs to the ‘Earth Heritage’ Corian^® colour collection, and is manufactured using a new Fusion^™ Technology. This enables the production of Corian^® surfaces featuring innovative combinations of random veinings and particles into a solid tone matrix. The Iconic Awards acknowledge visionary architecture, innovative products and sustainable communication from all fields of architecture, the construction and property sectors, and the manufacturing industry, with awards in five main categories.
