Hotel Royal Chiaohsi is a five-stars hotel located in Taiwan Wufongqi scenic area overlooking the entire Yilan city. With a long heritage in Northern Taiwan, the hotel is famous for magnificent landscape scenery and hot spring; guests can enjoy indulging cuisine with freshly local picked ingredients while revitalized natural hot spring.
Awarded with the top 10 dreamed breakfast in Taiwan by HotelsCombined, Hotel Royal Chiaohsi’s Yuntian buffet restaurant was first built 15 years ago with natural marble which was very difficult to maintain. The restaurant was later replaced partially with Corian® Solid Surface. Nevertheless, the natural marble areas had become more and more dirty and damaged the dining experience of hotel guests. Aware of the key benefits of Corian® Solid Surface, the hotel decided to completely redesign the restaurant using Corian®.
Dedicated to providing guests with the most immersive dining experience, the hotel invested over 10 million Taiwan dollars in redesigning the Yuntian buffet restaurant. Space efficiency, hygiene, visual impact and streamline functionality are all core ingredients to the new design theme.

The design is made possible only with Corian® Solid Surface in which designs and aesthetics were met without sacrificing functionality. Certified with NSF/ANSI Standard 51 for food contact, Corian® Solid Surface meets the utmost hygiene standard in five-stars hotel providing Yuntian buffet restaurant with seamless buffet table, kitchen countertop and integrated vertical wall. The new atmosphere created by Corian® is luxury yet natural, clean and pleasant for guests who dine at the restaurant. Moreover, the hotel enjoyed the ease in cleaning and maintaining the buffet restaurant. The benefit of using Corian® Solid Surface is appraised by both the hotel owner and the guests.

6 months after day to day use, Corian® solid surface still look brand new and is much appreciated by the hotel management team.
