December 2023 - In the heart of Sofia resides a stunning example of design at the service of luxurious living, a private apartment’s bathroom transformed into a haven of beauty and functionality. The bathroom encapsulates an atmosphere of sophistication and tranquility, owing to the extensive use of Corian® Solid Surface colour Carrara Crema. This warm, neutral beige, marked by monochromatic veins reminiscent of stone, conveys a remarkable sense of elegance.

Complementing this is a touch of Corian® Smoke Drift Prima, a sophisticated colour amalgamating smoky chocolate drifts over a surface of white, caramel, and warm grey.
This project, where no less than 70 square meters of Corian® were used, was created by Soliform, a Corian® Fabricator member of the Quality Network Program.

The floor and the walls are entirely cladded in Corian®, which also served to create the custom vanity unit with seamlessly integrated washbasin, towel rack, and niches, all made in Carrara Crema colour. And finally, a wall feature in Corian® colour Smoke Drift Prima integrating concealed lighting enriches the ambiance, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere within the space, emphasising the functional and aesthetic aspects of this project.

Beyond its visual appeal, the bathroom’s design emphasises practicality. The meticulous implementation of a 10 cm shadow gap, strategically placed from the floor with an overlap detail, serves both functional and aesthetic purposes. This design feature accommodates thermal expansion due to the underfloor heating system, allowing independent movement of the floor and walls while enhancing the space’s visual appeal.
