• We have Product-Specific Type III Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs): the most credible, independently verified information about the life-cycle environmental impact of our products.
• Corian® Solid Surface is non-toxic and non-allergenic: it is free of heavy metals and toxic substances and complies with the EU Directive 2002/95EC on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS).
• Corian® Solid Surface has qualified for the Mindful Materials library, indicating our transparency and commitment to healthy materials, and has certifications that align to AIA Materials Pledge -among others:
- it is Red List free, as indicated in the Declare label
- it is NSF certified for food service in commercial/public spaces
- it is UL certified as mould resistant.
• Corian® Solid Surface contributes to obtaining US Green Building Council LEED points, contributes to a good EQ credit and helps to obtain Material Resources credits.
